Who Am I?
Aloha! I’m Amy and welcome to my rambling blog. I started this journey because I’m a member of the 2008 class of the Pacific Century Fellows and I thought it would be cool to share some of my experiences. For those who aren’t familiar with PCF, it’s a program started by Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann more than 10 years ago based on his experience with the White House Fellows program. It gives young leaders in Hawaii the opportunity to learn and interact from various leaders in industry, community and government groups. You can learn more here. My year’s over now, but I will continue to talk about PCF and whatever else happens along the way.
Other than the Fellows program, I work in Honolulu at Hawaii’s best public relations firm, McNeil Wilson Communications. Maybe I’m biased since I’ve worked here nearly 12 years, but I love it. Great people, great clients and great projects. Can’t get much better than that, right?
And, I think it’s important to state that this is my own personal blog and none of the opinions expressed here represent the opinions of my employer, clients or anyone else but me. Cool?
